conditions for Villa Fiore
1. GENERAL
The hiring contract is between the Hirer and the Owner of the
property for which the booking is made and incorporates the conditions
set out below. In all legal respects the client is liable to the owner
and vice versa.
2. PAYMENT
Booking must be accompanied by a deposit of 30% of the amount of the
total rent. The balance of the rent must be paid 60 days (8 weeks) from
the commencement of the booking. The full amount is payable if the occupation
date is less than 30 days from the date of booking.
3. AUTHORITY TO SIGN
The person who signs the booking form certifies that he or she is authorised
to agree the Booking Conditions on behalf of all persons included on the
Booking Form including those substituted or added at a later date. The
signatory must be a member of the party occupying the property and must
be 18 years or over. Bookings cannot be accepted from parties of young
people under 18 years of age.
4. HIRER'S OBLIGATION
The Hirer agrees:
(a) to pay for any breakages, losses or damage to the property, its
fittings, fixtures or contents caused or arising during the period of the
hiring.
(b) the maximum number of persons, including infants, allowed at the
property is clearly stated in our brochure and MAY NOT BE EXCEEDED. The
parking of caravans or pitching of tents is strictly forbidden. (We reserve
the right to terminate the hire without notice and without refund in case
of a breach of this condition)
(c) to take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy
condition at the end of the tenancy.
(d) to permit the owner access to carry out urgent maintenance.
5. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
(a) all times in local Italian time.
(b) you are asked to arrive between 1700 and 1900 hours. Departure
must be before 9.30am. Late departure cannot be accepted, unless prior
agreement is made.
(c) arrangements for collection of damage deposits, when paid to the
owner/keyholder direct, are the responsibility of the Hirer. Please bear
in mind that there may be a six week delay if the telephone is not on a
meter.Depending on telecom company.
(d) The property should not be left untidy and excessively dirty. The
owner reserve the right to make deductions from the security deposit for
any extra not normal cleaning
6. TRAVEL INFORMATION
The Hirer is responsible for his party's travel documentation (passports,
driving licenses, vehicle registration documents, green card, motor insurance
etc).
7. NON AVAILABILITY OF PROPERTY
If, for any reason beyond the owner's control, eg fire damage, is not
available on the date booked, all rent paid in advance will be refunded
in full. The Hirer shall have no further claim against the owner
8. ALTERATIONS TO BOOKINGS
If you amend your booking after it has been confirmed it must be out
in writing.
9. SECURITY DEPOSIT
A deposit is payable on arrival and will be refunded when any damages,
breakages, or chargeable consumption have been paid for by the client.
All bookings are accepted on the condition that the client is responsible
for and will pay for any telephone calls, damage or breakages in or to
the property occupied, including such damages.
10. CANCELLATION
If the Hirer wishes to cancel the booking for non-insurable reasons,
he should advise the owner immediately by telephone, followed by confirmatory
letter. Upon receipt of such letter, the owner will (without obligation
whatsoever to the Hirer) use their best endeavours to obtain a replacement
letting and, if such replacement is obtained, it will then refund to the
Hirer any monies paid less a handling charge. If the owner is unable to
relet the holiday, the Owner shall be entitled to retain all payments already
made and to recover, if not already paid, the balance of the hiring charge.
